Mr. Latif-Zade is a highly talented composer whose music synthesizes multiple idioms: Western classical tradition, jazz, popular styles and authentic Central Asian heritage. His unconventional musical language is an original voice on today’s international stage.
— Prof. Theodore Levin, Dartmouth College (USA)
“
The work he performed at the festival—a large symphonic piece in memory of Alfred Schnittke—was among the most impressive contributions. His selection for Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road project reflects high recognition. His Piano Concerto is written to the highest standards of compositional craft.
